Eduardo Madeira holds a degree in Economics and a postgraduate degree in Marketing and Advertising. He specializes in public projects and finance. He currently coordinates the Financing and Investment Unit of the São Paulo State Department of Tourism and Travel, serving as a Tourism Project Consultant for the São Paulo Agency for Investment and Competitiveness Promotion (InvestSP), focusing on the São Paulo State Tourism Credit Program.
In his professional career, he worked in the federal government sphere, implementing several Public Policy Development Programs and Projects, with financing from international banks and multilateral credit organizations, whether at the Ministry of Finance, with the fiscal and administrative modernization of Brazilian municipalities, where he was an instructor at the Federal Government's School of Tax Administration, or at the Ministry of Mines and Energy, in programs to universalize access and use of electricity. He stood out, however, in the General Coordination of the National Program for the Development and Structuring of Tourism, Prodetur Nacional, at the Ministry of Tourism, where he was awarded, in 2018, for his significant contribution to the results of the development of the tourism sector, with emphasis on the creation of the Selo+Turismo, of the Prodetur+Turismo Program.
Previously, he worked in the private sector, in financial institutions (Banco do Brasil, Banco BBA, Banco Credtanstalt, Unibanco Financeira and Banco Unibanco), where he acquired vast experience in the financial market, in the roles of financial analyst, project analyst and business manager, currently focusing on products and business and investment opportunities for the Tourism Sector.
